Behind a brick wall in the town of Abbeville you will find a unique 'brick and stone'  XVIII century château.

More acurately, Bagatelle is a 'Folie' meaning 'house in the greenery' (derived from the latin 'foleia')

Surrounded by a parc of over 10 hectares, Bagatelle undoutebly offers a unique example in France of a Roccoco architecture Folie, surrounded by its original formal French gardens and an English landscaped park. Inside, exquisitely painted woodwork, period furniture & decorations. Bagatelle is not a museum but a family home, with all the charms of a lived in property.

Guided visits of the chateau start on the 14 of July and finish on the 31 of August, every day exept Tuesdays, from 2.00 until 6.00 PM with access to the grounds.
